Why Sponsor or Donate?
The Building Business Leaders program is something that has never been done before. No other departments have attempted a program oriented at maintaining diversity in their field on the University’s campus (yet). BBL is a program being closely watched by many others (inside and outside of the University of Oregon) interested in its mission and stories. It is quickly becoming a model that other University departments want to duplicate and support. It is our hope that we can continue to grow the program and be able to help more under-represented minority students become Business leaders each year.
If you want to help our mission, we would like to encourage more than your involvement in our program–whether it be through mentoring (if you are a local business professional), networking (if you can be present at our events hosted to support the program’s values and mission), or sponsorship and donations. We feel diversity is an important aspect to keeping different perspectives and opinions alive in any field. Help us keep it alive in the Business field, starting with maintaining students of color in the Lundquist College of Business.
